It looks like the Council of Conservative Citizens is a declared 501 (c)(4) tax exempt group that is a around to promote "social welfare", even though their web site espouses racial bias and bigotry.
I wonder why the IRS didn't shut these guys down as those qualities do not align them with a social welfare tax-exempt group. Could it be because of the Right's intimidating attack on the IRS and Lois Lerner? Or maybe because the GOP controlled Congress keeps cutting the IRS's budget? I don't know, but one can surely speculate.
What says the board? Should we let the IRS do its job, or should we throw the baby out with the bath water?
