Matchups Set for Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off
Ohio State will open with Seton Hall and will then play either Florida or Cal in game two

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Matchups have been set for the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-off and Ohio State will open against Seton Hall on Monday, Nov. 22. The other semifinal will be between Florida and Cal with the consolation and championship games set for the evening session on Nov. 24.

The four teams will be playing in the Beach Division of the Fort Myers Tip-off and all games of the Beach Division will be televised nationally on FS1.

The Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off will be played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. Game times for all tournament games will be announced at a later date.

The Buckeyes hold a 3-2 all-time edge in the series against Seton Hall, but the programs have not met since 2003 – a 75-59 Seton Hall victory in New Jersey. The matchup will have a couple of interesting ties. Ohio State’s Seth Towns and Seton Hall’s Bryce Aiken were teammates at Harvard from 2016-20. New Buckeye assistant coach Tony Skinn spent the previous three seasons on the staff at Seton Hall before coming to Columbus this summer.

At this time, the only way to guarantee tickets for the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off is to purchase an official fan travel package. Travel packages include tickets to each Beach or Palms Division game, hotel accommodations and parking at Suncoast Credit Union Arena. For complete travel package information, log on to http://www.fortmyerstipoff.com/travel. Ticket-only packages, based on availability, will become available this fall.
