Oklahoma has 87 scholarship players but 2 are ‘non-tradional’—receiving their scholarship from NIL only. Looks like Michigan has as many as 8 doing this, since they have 93 total ‘scholarship players.’ Nothing is fair in college football. Ohio State and the other top tier programs have plenty of advantages but limiting scholarships has been around for several decades. But apparently not anymore. Ohio State likely has at least one in this boat—Lorenzo Styles. I wonder if the days of over 100 scholarship players are on their way back?
