Don't know if anyone saw Bobby Carpenter's tweet the other day but... an NFL scout who watched an OSU practice last week said he thinks this is Urban's best offense at OSU. Considering OSU has led the B1G in total offense 4 of the 6 years Urban has been there, that's saying a lot.

This follows the revelation that the consensus among NFL scouts (who pool their ratings through National and Blesto) is that OSU has more players (9) with early round draft grades than any other team in the country. Neither Haskins or Fuller were among the 9 so that number could grow during the scouts' preseason practice reviews.

About a week ago Walter Football revealed the other teams with a high number of early round players. Stew Mandel (who picked OSU to finish 4th in the Eastern Division) may want to check the list. Wisconsin had 4 players with high draft grades and Michigan 2. No other B1G teams made the list. I think this is going to be a very big year for OSU. The college media are consumed with Zach Smith while the pro scouts are quietly acknowledging how good OSU will be this year.
