The NCAA desperately needs a no tampering rule for football coaches- both head coaches, assistants, etc.
Make it similar to or stronger than the NFL. No contact before a team's season ends. Or better yet, no contact until the playoffs are over.
Violate it and lose 10 scholarships for 5 years.
And it's not just guys like Herman. Penn State will be all over Schiano this year. Other teams may be over him, Fickell, Smith, Warriner, and more. Right in the middle of a potential championship run.
