I come from scout following the best....I have always heard about this site but I am computer stupid and hate trying to figure out new sites and trying to find my way around the site.....which is why I made this thread....When someone like Nevada posted his "nuggets" thread you can click the nugget and it takes you to all his nugget threads....as is the same when someone posts "football recruiting" or whatever the term is.....my question is this, is there a sub forum to the horseshoe lounge that i can go to without having to click those words in the thread headline???
One of the site admin's posted a few days ago saying something to the such about new members introducing themsleves on the main board.....what is the main board? when I log onto the site, all I see under football forums is this forum, the horseshoe lounge.....is there somewhere else I am not seeing where we can go to look at sub forums?? again, If not for OSU football and the Cleveland Browns (hold the laughter) sites I would rarely ever frequent a computer so excuse me if I sound ignorant, aside from being a Browns fan..
my intro....mods please move if this is not the spot for it...I am a old scout fan, joined way back when Bob L was making his presence known on a daily basis....Bob had asked that I mod there as i was bringing alot of inside info at the time...I have been married for almost 30 years and my wife's uncle is none other than Coach Dantonio....so I was bringing some scoop to Bob from that side when Coach D was with us at OSU....when he left, so did my inside scoop of OSU........I sometimes argue with nevada from time to time because he is not a fan on Coach D and I love to debate the topic with him, sometimes to much....at the end of the day, we all love OSU and these forums give us a place to hang out with like people and talk about the little things that make us all forget about monday thru friday's......
from what I can tell in the few days I have been here, it looks like a great site, good people and good fun...one of my pet peeves is the member who take message boards to serious and get offended at the drop of a hat....from what I can read here, you all have fun and enjoy each other and respect ones opinion....I am sure there are bad apples but for the most part I cannot see any.....
for those of you who are not familar with Nevada....he will bring some info to you at times and you will be amazed and say to yourself there is no way that will happen, nevada made that up to drive excitement....only to pop on the site a few days later to see his post come to fruition.....fella truly has a way of getting the goods..there are times when I am convinced he has technology that allows him to tap into Urbans office and listen to all the phone calls, read texts, and hear conversations....after all this time, he still shocks me.
