I will start this by saying I think Meyer will survive this unfair storm, be our coach, and it all will eventually blow over. With that being said, if he does not (big if) keep his job, I am not nearly as anxious as I was in 2010.
The 2010 Buckeye coaching staff was a group that no other top-tier program wanted. Luke as the Interim HC, Bohlman as OC, Heacock (very solid) as DC, and the Quality Control guy as the QB coach. Those guys needed Tressel for Tresselball to work. We learned quickly it did not with JT gone.
The current staff has Day (future star) as the Interim HC and QB Coach, Wilson as OC, Schiano as DC, and the best collection of position coaches in the country. This is possibly the best college staff ever assembled.
Player personnel: 2010 had Bauserman start the season at QB...let's just stop there.
2018 Is one of the most talented teams in the country, with a future stud QB.
