I need some input here.

A guy I know who is extremely knowledgeable about sports informed me that the "One & done rule" is a complete farce and kids are taking great advantage of it. He stated that several players in the NBA right now, who were one & done, NEVER attended a single class at the school and the NCAA is aware of the situation but since they are some of the biggest schools around, they look the other way.

I indicated that the school would/should impose probation on any kid enrolled and not attending class but he responded that, apparently, being on probation still allows the kid to play and by the time any penalty is enacted, bball season is over and the kid simply goes on his way.

If this is the case, it totally changes my perception and appreciation of college ball and needs to be investigated. I've always hated the rule and called for the same rules as college baseball and football but that won't happen.
