Highlighting some information I saw in this Reddit thread, here's how Ohio State has done historically when they are featured on College Gameday:
When hosting College GameDay, Ohio State has a 13-5 record.
When visiting a College GameDay host site, Ohio State is 12-4.
Ohio State is also 1-1 when playing a neutral site game featured for College GameDay.
Additionally, when Ohio State is playing in a Bowl Game featured on College GameDay, the Buckeyes are 5-3.
With 44 total appearances on College GameDay, Ohio State has the second most all-time behind Alabama who has 46 appearances. Ohio State, however, has the most wins of all-time when featured on College GameDay with 31. The next closest is Alabama with 30 wins.
Ohio State also has the highest winning percentage of any team with at least 3 appearances, winning 70% of their appearances on College GameDay. Only reason I'm clarifying this is that there are a lot of teams (North Dakota State, Pennsylvania, Troy, etc.) that have only been featured once or twice but have won all their appearances. TCU actually held the record, winning their first six appearances before losing to Ohio State last season.
Looking ahead to this season, there are definitely some more opportunities for Ohio State to make an appearance. Week 5 at Nebraska seems like a possibility, as the only other currently ranked match-up that week is No. 23 Washington State vs. No. 13 Utah.
The Game is always a possibility as well. While there's a good chance College GameDay will be in Ann Arbor for ND/TTUN, if The Game ends up being a top 7 or top 5 match-up, there's no chance they stay away.
