Chris Livingston, the No.3 overall basketball prospect in the class of 2022, recently announced that he will be transferring back to Akron Buchtel for the upcoming season despite spending last year at prep school Western Reserve Academy.
Livingston, who holds just two high-major offers from Ohio State and Florida, helped lead Buchtel to the state final four as a freshman before his grandfather and the head coach at Buchtel had a falling out argument at a preseason scrimmage that led to Chris and his brother Cordell spending the season at Western Reserve.
This is a very interesting move at this point in time considering that many prospects across the state have been transferring from their previous OHSAA affiliated school to prep schools this summer due to the fear of there being no high school season (prep schools would still play.)
