In spite of having an historically good team, OSU is going to have three weeks to listen to how great Clemson is. That Venable's defense is the best, that Lawrence, Etienne and the long receivers can't be stopped, blah, blah, blah.
Don't get me wrong. Clemson is an elite team coming off a Championship year. They will be mighty tough to beat. But we will be the angry team playing with a chip IMHO.
Dabo is trying to flip the narrative but it won't work. The talking heads are going to build up Clemson big time. For this to work it needs to be credible and nobody is disrespecting Clemson.
Add to this the stub of being knocked down from the #1 seed, and Coach Day is going to have our guys angry and ready to prove something.
Kind of reminds me of the month leading up to the 2002 Championship game with the Canes.
