With the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes beating the No. 11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Buckeyes have now won four games in a row and have a seven-point lead on second place Notre Dame in the Big Ten Standings. Senior forward Freddy Gerard had two goals, while redshirt junior defenseman Wyatt Ege had two assists. Redshirt senior goaltender Sean Romeo had 27 saves on 29 shots for the Buckeyes.
