OT - Beach Vacation in Florida

Family is looking to go somewhere new. Have never stayed south of Tampa on the Gulf side. Any recommendations for places to go or stay from Bradenton/Sarasota to Punta Gorda, Naples or Marco Island? We are looking for nice beaches, decent restaurants/bars, good golf etc.
