Inspired by the rare poster thread, where is the farthest from Ohio, strangest place or bizarre circumstance that someone yelled out O H to you?
For me. it happened last month. I had just crossed the rope bridge (from HELL) in Carrick-a-Rede in Northern Ireland. Living in very flat Florida, I didn't realize I had developed vertigo. I made the turn around the corner ans saw this:
I was shocked at my bodies response. I had to literally force myself to cross the bridge over that yawning chasm. The worst part was the return trip. I had a death grip on the ropes as I crossed and was solely focused on the narrow, termite ridden planks separating me from being smashed on the very sharp rocks below me. The return trip took hours (or so it seemed) and as I was going back up to safety, a teenager wearing a white tOSU hoodie gave me the O - H. I gave the proper response and staggered back up the trail to safety.
Cool view from there though.
