I just wanted to get the word out that my business partner and I just opened a new restaurant in the University district. We are located near the corner of King Avenue and Neil Avenue right up the street from Wexner medical center. The restaurant is called Alqueria (Spanish for farmhouse). I would like to extend a welcome to this amazing community to hopefully come check us out.
I am not a frequent poster, but a few years ago I mentioned that I was one of the chefs at Barcelona in German village. After years of working there we decided to open our own place. We seat about sixty, so it is a pretty intimate little space.
Our menu food menu is focused on as much Ohio product as possible and we have a full bar with craft cocktails, beer and about 40 bottles of wine to choose from.
We are doing lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and dinner only on Saturday. When the weather gets nice we plan on starting Sunday brunch.
