I know these camps are sometimes invite only but they still cost money, right? How do some of these kids find funds to travel all over the country and pay for these camps. I am not try to say there is anything illegal going on, but it just seems like some kids don't miss a camp...ever.
My wife told me she has a friend whose daughter got sponsored by Pizza Hut and had to wear a pizza hut advertisement while competing. I assumed it was the team was sponsored like a little league team or a AAU basketball team, but I was curious what kids can do to find potential funds to participate in camps without risking eligibility?
I know some parents divert college funds towards camps because they think their son/daughter can get a sports scholarship. I am more interested in situation where parents do not have the means to send their kid here and there and everywhere.
