I see Anthony Hill Jr, Caleb Downs and Kadyn Proctor all over my tv tonight. Those guys were consensus 5 stars.
What is Ryan Day's stance on playing freshmen? I'm thrilled to see Hartford and Tate play so much.
Inexperienced guys will undoubtedly make mistakes, but growing pains usually result in long-term gain.
What is your philosophy on playing freshmen? Do you defer to more experienced guys because they've "paid their dues"? Do you bet on the talent and live with mistakes?
I love Cade and what he's done for this program, but Jelani Thurman is the most talented TE in the program. Simmons is fine and he'll improve, but I'd rather see Luke Montgomery out there. Guys like Proctor and Martinez have had several years to establish themselves and have not done so. I'm thrilled to see Hartford out there.
