Building off of what NB posted about practice being cancelled for the vets, the last few days have been extremely intense. Probably a good move by the staff here, the guys have been really getting after it and it has been pretty chippy. Definitely doesn't sound like a group that is experiencing a championship hangover.
Talked to someone today who has been at some recent practices.
"They needed (a break). These guys are ready to get the season going. 1s vs. 1s during the team period feels like a playoff game out there."
