Quinn Kinner (HS-Senior from New Jersey) recently flipped to us, from NC State
He wrestled 132 this weekend, in a brackiet of 157 kids
Finished 3rd
Only loss was to scUM commit Joey Silva, who is the #1 ranked 132 in the nation.
Quinn lost that match 7-5
In the consi semi's he beat Arizona St commit Julian Chlebove 3-2
Quinn won his 3rd place bout 3-2 as well.
This was the first time I followed him thru a tourney.
Taller build for his weight.
Good on his feet - great ankle pick, which makes sense with his taller body habitus.
Great on top, turned a lot of kids for backs.
Very good scrambler.
Losing to Silva is nothing to be ashamed of... Silva is a stud.
