I think with this insane spurt of coach movement this late into the calendar, we need to agree it is well past time to stop complaining about recruits who 'play recruiting games' or draw out their recruitments to assess options until the last minute. Each of these players owes themselves as much time as they want to do their dur diligence, because this recent activity only proves how unreliable so many coaches can be. Hafley, Chip, and others sold 'their' programs to kids then turn around and ditch them. I don't typically fault the kids for drawing out recruitments and delaying decisions, but I don't see how anyone could blame them anymore.
I know if the HC leaves, the players get to enter the portal if they want. However, their options are significantly reduced at this point and the chaos around their lives at a time when they are just entering college and their world gets flipped upside down is not something I think I would have handles well as an 18 year old.
