Please to not take this as fussing. More of a question for those that have more football knowledge than myself. It seems as though we still utilize the read option a great deal in our running game despite the fact that Haskins is not really a threat to run. Even with the score against TCU, 90% of the time he is handling off. Does it make sense to continue to run slower developing “reads” given the fact that the D is collapsing on the back and conceding the 5 yards Haskins may run for on the off chance he keeps it? I’ll hang up and listen. Thanks!
