I'll have more in the next few days on how you can easily help veterans who are burn pit victims and my experience in Washington DC last Thursday.

FWIW, WE KICKED ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dept of
Defense ducked out of the hearing!!!! And the committee chair, Rep. Neil Dunn (FL) pretty much was the only representative who made an entirely idiotic suggestion. He, and the VA doctor agreed with him, stated that it's possible Americans are not "used" to the polluted environment in Iraq because Iraqi's don't seem to be sick. The reason this is idiotic to even suggest is that the cancer (RARE CANCERS) and RARE birth defect rates have skyrocketed among the Iraqi population since the U.S. invasion. This is documented.
Also, if his stance is true, and yes, Iraq was already toxic due to chemical weapons, oil fires, etc, so does that make it OK that the U.S. military went in added to the pollution that was already devastating to human lives?????

I showed my poster pictured in the American Conservative article to as many people as I could, including Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and 5 Congressmen and women from other states. Part of the discussion in the hearing was about the VA and Dept. of Defense insisting more research is necessary.....years of research, before a determination that these illnesses are burn pit, deployment, combat connected can be made. My point to the Members of Congress and media as they viewed my poster was, "Here's your research!!! If you build a fire in your backyard and you burn all of these substances in it you are going to die!!!!
