Ohio State only took three players at the position in this year’s class, but it’s clear the Buckeyes coaches have identified a particular type of wide receiver to recruit. All three prospects at listed at 6-foot-4 or taller, including the prize of the class, five-star Grimes. What’s most impressive about the class is that the Buckeyes continue to expand their reach nationally and the three signees hail from Florida, Ohio and Texas, three major pipeline states since Urban Meyer arrived in Columbus.
