Hello all! I have a quick announcement to make.
Today is my last day at Rivals.
From Day 1, you guys have been through the ringer with the change in management of this site. And for the past 10 months, I have given literally everything I have to make this site stand out as your go-to place for Ohio State news and analysis. With it came an opportunity that I could not turn down.
So I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for sticking around, for giving me a chance to show you what I could do. Thank you for bearing w ith me as I navigated a crowded market while also dealing with countless personnel changes and unforeseen challenges with being the face of this website.
I did everything I could to make this a viable site for you all, working night and day to bring you news first and features that you couldn’t get anywhere else.
As for what’s next for the site, I know there are things in motion, but that’s not for me to address at this point.
And as for me, I won’t be going super far. But this isn’t the place to address that either.
Scarlet and Gray Report brought me back to Columbus. It gave me an opportunity to show what I can do covering Ohio State, to stand out covering one of the top programs in the country. I’ll always be thankful to people like Gabe DeArmond, Eric Lammers, Jack Emerson, Jacob Benge and Zack Carpenter for helping me build this thing up.
And we couldn’t have done it without all of your support, so thank you so, so much.
I wasn’t perfect, but I leave this site knowing I tried my best.
