I have been thinking a lot about next season, have looked at a ton of two deeps, and even did a few projections in my head.. there are some guys who we haven’t heard much about.. am curious if anyone has any insight into the below players, these guys all seemed to have a ton of potential, but for whatever reason, didn’t see a ton of playing time
Max Wray- I thought I remember hearing positive things when he got to campus. I don’t recall seeing him in garbage time, but with the thin roster at offensive tackle, an experienced guy in the two deep would be nice. Is he hurt, or just buried on the depth chart?
Tyreke Johnson- former 5 star defensive back, seems like he’d be perfect for that nickel spot, will he be in contention? Has the light just not come on? Was he hurt? Would be huge if he can contribute next season, especially at CB
Jaylen Harris- with the WR depth, and seemingly passed by some freshman, it seems he needs to take a big leap this offseason to get PT. A big bodied WR who can catch is always a nice weapon to add to any offense. With all the departures he has a chance to get PT next year, or continue to get passed by freshman
Marcus Williamson- I think I read he was dinged up this year, and was thinking of transferring. I hope he sticks around, because the competition for playing time at DB will be fun to monitor this off season.
Ronnie Hickman- I know he was only a freshman, but I almost forgot he was on the roster. Is he projected at Fuller’s safety spot?
Elijah Gardiner- the older WR have to be a little nervous with all the super stars coming in. I know he’s played a little this year in garbage time, but does he have any chance to play?
Jerron Cage- I remember wondering “who is that guy” a few times late in games this year. He seemed to flash when he was in during the 4th quarter. Will this kid be the next Hamilton? We could use another Hamilton on the roster next year
