Ive come to the conclusion that this has turned into a guessing game in many instances. If
that was targeting by Pryor then I’m at a total loss. Conversely, Arnette hit which was targeting
Imho wasn’t even reviewed. I think (at least in all conference games) we need to go to a one
man review system for all the games. My proposal is official or person in review booth determine
that a play (only targeting) needs review. Then the process goes to a command center like
they do in baseball who makes the decision thus we should have consistency in all targeting calls.
I know some may say that will slow the game down but I would rather have the right call even
If it takes longer.
When Haskin got hit in TCU was that targeting? Not IMHO!
