1. Obamacare - Delete or fix it, but make sure no one is left uncovered. Costs are skyrocketing, choices are increasingly limited. Needs scrapped or significantly altered. But under no circumstances leave Americans without affordable coverage. Wish I could add more, but frankly I don't understand it well enough, despite working almost 30 years in the field. Give me a team of experts and let's figure it out.
2. Corporate Taxes - Corporate taxes must be set to attract capital back into the U.S. This is critical to the deficit and debt. I am okay with 15% ..... "IF" incentive gates are in place to divert some ridiculous executive pay into profit sharing, and diverse executive management roles. No free ride for corporations, but significant rewards for behavior beneficial to our society. The workers deserve and need to be rewarded and compensated for their contributions to corporate profitability, and for being among the best in the world. It should come out of corporate management pay, rather than economically challenging minimum wage increases. No problem with redistributing some wealth, way too much in the 1%, it is unhealthy and dangerous long term. Incentivize the redistribution, rather than stealing it from others. Corporate taxes should be lower to attract more capital, but how about we achieve that thru incentives that reward diversity, and MOST IMPORTANTLY .... certain guideline for executive payroll being within reach of worker payroll, and a profit sharing plan established to reward good hard working Americans for their efforts leading to success and profitability of the firm!!!!
3. Personal Taxes - Change the code to some sort of flat tax, with some graduation, so that the tax is fair, predictable, and with loop holes only in areas that promote societal benefits ... home mortgage interest, charity, and maybe a few other things.
4. Capital Repatriation - A one time minimal tax to attract billions of dollars back to the U.S. Social pressure to conform. Let's get American owned capital back to work in America where it belongs. Put the tax collections into social benefits, and infrastructure. Both parts should produce more jobs if properly incentivized.
5. The Wall - All for it, but with a "big beautiful door" we should ALWAYS welcome immigrants, properly.
6. Illegal Aliens - A path to amnesty for those deserving, please. For those with families, no crimes, and a job or education in process, allow them to earn their stay with the normal or reformed process. For problematic illegals, round them up. Let the productive ones stay, and set the tone of a heartfelt America, but with a wall and strict laws going forward.
7. Trade - Fix the problems, not sure how, as this will be a case by case basis. A general attitude of fighting predatorial behavior is a start, along with encouragement through taxation strategies to keep jobs home and exports back in line with imports.
8. Foreign Policy - Reach out to all world partners and adversaries. Let them know a new sheriff is in town, let them sweat and guess about some things, make some deals where possible. Shore up all alliances, but with proper contributions from them all including contributions of troops, assets, and dollars.
9. Iran Nuclear Deal - Revisit it, and renegotiate as "doable" ..... I need a team of national security advisors and economists to advise me before commenting further.
10. Russia - There is no real reason we can't have a good relationship. I realize the rest of Europe is in the way potentially, along with a few thousand years of history, but this can be worked. We should be partnering with the Russians, more than at odds with them.
11. SCOTUS - Fair minded moderate judges please. Not legislators, but constitutionalists. Don't want to see the highest court stocked with legislators, or be overly conservative or overly liberal.
12. Politics, Investigations, In General & Transparency - We need to dissolve the fierce party machines that are constantly at odds over power. Easier said than done. Government needs to remember they work for us, not the other way around. Obtuse and uncooperative politicians need to be exposed to their constituents .... "you're fired". Political Investigations & Healing - Let them go, they are costly and divisive at a time when unity and healing are vital.
13. Cabinet - Guiliani, Carson, Christie, etc. Where appropriate, a solid mix of multi-cultural representation. Diversity is increasingly important if not vital in understanding issues, and leading the country. Buy-in from the populous is vital. Too many people feel left out. I would not be opposed to offering HRC a cabinet position or other opportunity that lets her focus on her special interests for women's equality and children, even if I am a little skeptical. She is a passionate woman with a lot to offer, if given the correct environment. R's please don't shoot me for this last one lol. But we MUST reach out to the masses and groups, and across the aisle, to get out of this divided mess we are in and utilize the greatest minds available in areas of interest.
