Of all the things that have come out, this certainly has the worst optics of the entire situation. This is the lynch pin that confirms to everyone that DV is a certainty and not accusation.
If this is proven accurate, it will be still be the hardest thing for anyone to sweep under (and yes Urban probably never saw this, but it will confirm he did in fact keep Zach on staff while he was an abuser)
However, if it is proven to be a fabrication, that will be the single point where the tide of public opinion turns back in favor of Urban and Zach.
The question I can't get past is this....if these texts are real....why didn't she take these to the police as an admission of guilt? She clearly was not shy about reporting things to the police and accusing her husband (so don't tell me she was afraid of going to them), so why would she never show them that?
