During the preseason, I heard Urban say many times that he is not concerned about the WR position because we have "recruited very well" at that position. I've been watching a lot of CFB games from around the country and I just don't see it.
I don't claim to be a talent evaluator or expert of any kind but when I watch these other teams, many of them playing true freshmen at the WR position who are smooth and dynamic, I have to wonder where those guys are on OSU.
Thomas is a good player but limited because of speed.
Marshall has speed but he isn't out muscling a defender for a ball or out jumping him.
Samuel is a RB playing WR.
Braxton? I don't know what the plan is for him.
I'm not slamming the guys above, I just don't see that true difference maker outside that I'm seeing on all the other top 10 teams around the country.
