Our ST's were awful, we were missing 4 of our top 6 WR's and the best defensive player in the country!
I usually try not to get sucked up in to the hype and always say that things are never as good or as bad as they seem... That being said, as long as we stay healthy and don't shoot ourselves in the foot, we could easily end up being considered one of the best CFB teams of all time if we win the NC.
Thomas absolutely abused a consensus AA and top 15 pick at CB. He was thrown the ball 4 times I believe... 1 for a 1st down, 1 for a TD and 2 PI calls that one would have easily been a TD had the ball not been under thrown.
Zeke looks just as explosive as he did at the end of last year.
Vannett is a STUD.
The emergence of Braxton is HUGE to what we can do as well.
The CB's looked great out there, long lean and glued to the guys hips. Also surprised at how physical they were in run support.
The LB's looked big, fast and very physical as well.
ST's were the only thing I was disappointed with as well as Vonn Bell, but I think he will be fine.
Also, seeing a throwback screen seems like the go to play for every team we play since Michigan in 2013!
