Chris Daniels out of Euless (Texas) Trinity is going to announce his top five this weekend, likely on Sunday. He is a big time defensive tackle and member of the Rivals250. At this point, he is almost certainly the second most likely candidate to join Malik Barrow as the second defensive tackle in the Ohio State class, behind only Antwuan Jackson of Georgia.
He visited Ohio State earlier this month and Jason Howell, our mid-South/Midlands analyst on the national team caught up with him to talk about the Buckeyes and the other Big Ten schools he visited on his little swing up to the Midwest. Wouldn't say it's a lock, but there's a pretty solid chance for Ohio State to make this top five and earn an official visit.
