Urban challenged the B1G to recruit harder… they listened

Just 3 years ago you had Dantonio and other B1G coaches suggesting there was a "gentlemen's agreement" to not recruit other teams' commits. Dantonio directly criticized Urban for doing it and called it "unethical".

Times have changed. Dantonio has aggressively pursued committed players this year. He's getting a visit from Michigan commit Michael Onwenu this weekend and has been working hard to try to flip a couple of PSU commits (Miles Sanders and Daniel Joseph). While it looks like PSU may hang on to those guys they may lose a couple of others to Michigan (DT Dwumfor and K Nordin). And they're so worried about Lavert Hill flipping to Michigan they actually trotted him out to center ice at a hockey game to introduce him to the crowd.

Meanwhile, you have clinically crazy Harbaugh sleeping over at recruits' houses and climbing trees to impress them. You can't make this stuff up.

Things are different now in the B1G. But guess who's still on top of the recruiting rankings…
