I know that we had a thread on here about the chances of a true freshman getting into the starting lineup this season and while I don't see that happening, Urban Meyer is hopeful to get a lot of freshmen involved in some capacity this year. It is too early after day one to really have a great read on where these guys are in terms of the big picture but as we all know, Meyer does not like to RS kids if they can play and we can all go back to comments he made about regretting not playing Sam Hubbard.

"I would like to have 20 of them play, that means we recruited really well," Meyer said on Monday during his first press conference of fall camp.

Sometimes it is hard to get him to single guys out because he doesn't want to inadvertently omit someone and get a call from a parent or send the wrong message but he did single out one position group for the freshman class.

"I like our three linebackers, I could see those three guys contributing in some form. I am talking about Nick Conner, (Justin) Hilliard and (Jerome) Baker," Meyer added.

I just wanted to get something posted on here about that. Those couple of quotes likely won't make a story in the next day or two and I didn't want to waste them as I am sitting here re-listening to the interviews from yesterday.
