I caught up with Rivals250 OT Jauan Williams yesterday after Florida State's camp. The entry in my recruiting notebook is below and the video interview is linked.
Florida State offensive line coach Rick Trickett spent a lot of time with offensive tackle Jauan Williams. The Rivals250 prospect out of Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll said he and Trickett are "buddies" and seemed to take the coaching very well. Williams visited Florida on Wednesday and liked the facilities and coaches. He wants to visit LSU this summer and see offensive line coach Jeff Grimes. Williams was close with him when he coached at Virginia Tech. Ohio State is in very good position with Williams partly because of his relationship with defensive line coach Larry Johnson. Williams is also hoping to visit Michigan, Alabama and Auburn. He is aiming to commit at the Under Armour All-America Game.
