I unfortunately walked the game again last night. The game completely changed when WI is up 9 with 13 minutes to go and Coach K calls a timeout and is lambasting the Refs. They come out of the time out and boom WI starts getting called for fouls that at that point the entire game they were NOT getting called for. Literally one play Winslow is loosing his balance drills Duggan in the face with both his elbows and it was still called a blocking foul. I'm sorry but watching this game over that is something seriously wrong with College basketball.
At one point in a game a legendary coach can call a timeout and it changes the rules of the game for the rest of its entirety??? Also, what is completely moronic is the head writer of the Big 10 Network was on the Waddle and Silve show in Chicago and the reason the Refs got the Winslow Out Of Bounds call wrong is they have limited angles to look at, they didn't have the one the Whole world saw of the ball clearly going off Winslow finger. And they all said that is the stupidest thing they ever heard but that's what's the head of officials told the Big Ten Network. Btw the Head of officials last day in that role was Tuesday. A new one is being named sometime soon. But watching that game again and being a unbiased fan because as you know my favorite team is Ohio State, Wisconsin did get pretty shafted in those final 13 minutes. Mainly because the rules of basketball suddenly changed after that Timeout and we're not called the same as the first 27 minutes.
