After seeing Jaxon Smith-Njigba in uniform and getting extra work after practice last week, we did not see the Ohio State wide receiver in any capacity tonight in the Woody.
We are still working on gathering more information, but multiple sources have confirmed to DTE that he has not practiced either of the last two days. I asked C.J. Stroud for a comment about what his close friend has been going through, and he elected not to talk about Smith-Njigba's personal conversations with him -- which is absolutely understandable, but also seems to validate that there was some sort of setback on Saturday late in that snap count.
