According to data from the gun-control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety, more than 70 children under the age of 18 have unintentionally shot themselves or another person this year.
So, once again we must send our thoughts and prayers:
We pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of our freedom.
This is getting really old.
