And I actually agree with this post 100% That's why I say this sooo gray and you have no idea the shit storm that is a volatile, abusive household.
I've lived it as the child...it's awful, and it's hard for anyone to know who's at fault. I've seen an 85 lb woman repeatedly attack a 180 pound man...Hell I've been attacked by that 85 lb woman...You can not believe how much damage then can inflict...and how much visible damage you can do just trying to get the **** away! So I have great empathy for ALL in this sad case, especially the children. I'm sure everyone around them thought "what a disaster! Those two really need to get divorced!" Some may have even given money to help facilitate that divorce, to try and do SOMETHING to stop the madness....hmmmm? wonder who would do that?
These situations are very blurry and unless you've lived it there's not really anything I can say to help people understand...E+R=O right? Courtney is mentally defective? she has a shitty marriage, self medicates with alcohol, and her response is to attack resulting in shit outcome. Not really that unusual. Happens all the time....And all the people around them are paralyzed as to what to do...
