Without getting into another discussion of who will/should start, I am curious when people think an announcement will be made of the starter. Or will there even be an official announcement?
If there isn't an official announcement, will OSU try their best to keep Va. Tech in the dark about who the starter is so that their D can't prepare for one specific guy?
If OSU goes that route, it'll be really hard to keep a lid on the news with so much social media and intense coverage. But it would seem like such a big competitive advantage it might be worth the effort to keep it secret since each of the QBs has different strengths and weaknesses.
Similarly, is there any chance OSU would try misdirection? For example, not officially naming a starter but leaking to certain media that QB A is the guy when in reality it's QB B.
