When "prepping" us for the ACA Obama railed against what he called "junk" insurance

You know, insurance that cost a lot and had deductibles and out of pocket maxes so high that the only way a policy would pay anything is if a catastrophic event occurred. The average ACA Bronze plan, the lowest cost ACA policy, carries with it a monthly premium averaging over $400, a deductible well in excess of $6K and an out of pocket max of almost $4K. As such, the ACA Bronze plan policies meet the definition of "junk insurance" that used to be so important to our president. Why doesn't Obama still rage against the machine? Why is it ok for him to sell "junk insurance" but no one else can? Doesn't he care?
