A Muslim bakery in Dearborn, MI refused to bake a wedding cake for a man claiming to be gay. Instead, they gave him a list of other bakeries in the area with which to consult. Why is this bakery owner not being taken to task over his refusal? The pizzeria owner in Indiana's refusal was theoretical as he had not been asked to cater a gay wedding but merely whether he would, if asked. The Muslim bakery outright refused a direct request. Is it ok for them because they are Muslim? Does that give them the right?
