...offered first as a premium service on one of your local cable t.v. channels?

We're starting to see more and more of these so-called specialty type cable t.v. shows. EX: "American Restorations", "Chasing Classic cars" etc. etc., and perhaps the time is coming for this type topic show too.

We currently have the "Big Ten Channel", "The SEC Channel", but this would be more of a national/general show on the history of college football covering every conference all-time.

Not sure if it would be offered as a seasonal type show, or regional, or national, and I'm not sure if it would be a 7 day, 24 hour, and 365 type offering.

Some of the topics that could be covered are listed below, and the topics are almost endless when you consider that organized D-1-A football etc. etc. have been played now for over 130 years.

* Best single season D-1-A team of all-time? (Could invite a panel of college football experts/historians to select and discuss the list of top-25 or so teams that were singled out.

* Greatest match-ups ever played? EX: 1971 Nebraska vs. Oklahoma etc.

* Ranking the greatest D-1-A Head Coaches of all-time?

* Biggest upsets of all-time?

* Best RB all-time? (and you can cover every position and discuss the same)

* College Football History All-time 22 man D-1-A team position by position?

The late t.v. Announcer Curt Gowdy had a t.v. series show back in the 1970's entitled "The Way It Was" that had a similar theme/tone to the above, but that show covered football, boxing, baseball etc. etc./every sport. Gowdy, beside being one of the best t.v. sports Announcers of his day I guess was a head of his time in that regard.
