Did the school build the new arena years ago instead of just renovating St John? As a student in the early to mid 90's there was such a different crowd going to games and enthusiasm than there has been in the last 10-15 years at the Schott. The team could go undefeated 5 years in a row no matter who the coach is and the arena would still have a huge amount of empty seats and hardly any cheering which was such a different experience at the smaller student and crowd friendly St John. Even when the team was bad to Medicare the last 3-5 years under Ayers the arena was still for the most part full.
