With eight commits in the class of 2017

Ohio State now has more commits in 2017 (eight) than 42 schools have in 2016 (seven or fewer).

I know that Urban Meyer has said he hates the accelerated calendar in terms of recruiting but it doesn't seem to be hurting his efforts.
