Here's a name we have not talked about at all on this site, but let's change that: Calvin Simpson Hunt is a four-star cornerback in the 2023 class currently committed to Texas Tech. He's a 6-foot, 185-pounder out of Texas listed as the No. 42 cornerback in his class.
Ohio State offered him last Wednesday, which was the latest in a smoking-hot run for Hunt. He has been absolutely blowing up this spring, earning offers from (in order) LSU, Baylor, Florida, Ole Miss, Utah, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas and Nebraska in the last six weeks.
Hunt has locked in an official visit to Ohio State for June 17-19. He will take an official visit to Notre Dame on June 10-12, followed by the trip to Columbus and then back to Texas Tech for an official visit June 24-26. Hunt is keeping his options open, and Ohio State is too.
