What was it, five years ago there was the last drive pass interception against Clemson, then there was the missed field goal on the final play against Georgia, last year there was the painful pass interception at Michigan and now the game-ending play against Oregon.
Okay, there was the very lucky touchdown at Notre Dame to win that game.
These defeats are getting hard to take. The Buckeyes shouldn't have been in those situations but at least they had a chance for game-winning plays. In most cases, the heartbreaking plays were a failure by the players to execute.
Several times in those games, the defense failed to stop the opponent's offense in a timely manner. It was also a fact that the offense could not get first downs that would have run-out the clock.
Great, championship teams perform in the clutch.. This season is not over, there is a lot of football left. If the Bucks can bounce back, and win the final six games, they will likely play in the Big Ten Championship Game. Win that and they will still have a top four seed in the 12-team Playoffs. We'll find out what the team is made of.
