I’m not a huge fan of Ramzy Nasrallah, but he wrote this in early December , and it’s stuck with me since … “Day's path to staying in Columbus is quite simple, if he truly wants to remain Ohio State's head coach and keep his family in town. He needs to forget who he is and remember who he was. Because that's the guy who earned the right to the job”

No doubt over the years Ryan had become more conservative, slowing the pace . The toughness and 3rd base comments I think took him further down that rabbit hole .. He’s stubborn to a T …. I hate to say it, but he may have needed to lose this last Michigan to hit rock bottom and really reflect on his approach . What we are seeing now is masterclass , there is no doubt Ryan Day is a great offensive mind , especially when it comes to scheming an offense . @Bill Landis @Birm

@AustinWard , I know you guys have seen this stark difference , because in your podcasts over the past years you guys referenced the Georgia Ryan Day .. In the next press conference can you ask him if he notices the drastic differences in how much more effective his teams are they are when aggressive Ryan Day is out for blood . He coaches loose, and aggressive , and his players pick up on this …The Michigan game was coached to not lose, and instead of leave no doubt , the margin of error was razor thin because we let the other team dictate terms .. Contrast that to the last 2 games which were coached that we are going to put on foot on your throat from the start of the game and impose our will on defenses …

If I were Ross Bjork this is the conversation in the off-season .. If so , the Michigan problem solves its self … The catch 22.. 2 more games like the last 2, and the NFL may come calling
