What’s Doug’s obsession, or really anyone, with this guy? On Kings of Columbus, he and Bill were discussing coaches on staff at OSU. Fairly typical offseason banter. But Doug got going on the idea that Ohio State went from Kelly/Knowles to Hartline/Patricia and that it’s a significant downgrade. I don’t agree but the logic is fairly straightforward. But he also said, and has on a few occasions, especially in a world where Penn State has Knowles and Kotelnicki. Isn’t Kotelnicki the guy who didn’t once give the ball to Tyler Warren with 4 straight cracks from Ohio State’s 2 yard line? Especially after Warren got them down there. And this is the same offensive savant that engineered 0 completed passes to a WR in a national semifinal game? And the same guy who continued to try to pass the ball and only give Singleton the ball 15 times when game flow indicated he could pound the rock? What am I missing about Andy Kotelnicki that Doug just loves and others seem to hype. I also fully acknowledge that this could simply be answered by “Duh it’s Doug”.
