I didn't include this in the How it Was post, but there was another little tidbit from Cleveland I wanted to send your guys' way.
Jaylen Harris and Jigg Richardson have known each other since they were kids, playing football and basketball together at the youth level and a little beyond.
Richardson and Harris are VERY aware of what the other is doing on the field and in camps from week to week and so are their coaches. They both texted me on my way home from Cleveland to ask about the other's statline and their coaches were doing much of the same when I was on the sidelines with them.
While with the two of them, it's very friendly competition and they want to see the other succeed, their teammates definitely take it as a point of pride to have "the better guy." Everyone at Maple was telling me why Jigg is better than "the Heights kid" and I got the same from the Heights sideline about Richardson as soon as they all saw the Rivals gear.
Definitely one of the more enjoyable side effects of increased Internet recruiting coverage and something I thought you guys might enjoy lol
