Anyone suffer from panic attacks???

i know it's off topic but.... Just wondering if anyone else suffers from panic attacks? I had my first one when I was about 40. Just got home from work and just laid down to rest for a minute. Next thing I know my chest was getting tight and felt like I was hyperventilating. I thought I was having a heart attack. I got up and chewed two Bayer aspirins. Laid back down and thought I was dying. About 20 long minutes later I was ok. I now have medicine I can take when I feel one coming. What causes them, stress? Thank god for medicine because those suck.
